                       Looked into myself to get more functionality like real back-up etc. but backed off because the tool everybody uses and you can find you tube videos about how to do is I think called Kingo root which you download to PC. Software uses exploits on pc to get task done but then I'm thinking definitely no support if things don't work. After downloading some issues on PC so use a POS PC to do this I suggest. I can't state that I did it myself and worked but definitely watch videos first.

    You can use kingroot to root.

    King root does not work...I tried it....it does not actully root this unit

     rooting your TOOL is most likely only going to lead to long term headaches . I found adding things to the maxisys only slowed it down and caused problems. I was not adding anything strange or large either. If you want a tablet to perform other functions other then what the maxisys already does just buy another tablet. This way you can get google play store and a better performing tablet can be had then the maxisys anyhow for cheap.

    Only reason to root this would be so you could do a full backup
